Prespective Within the Walls

ltw 5th grade.pdf

As forced busing began and was being implemented in Boston, the loudest voices were the ones that were against it. Louise Day Hicks and affected community members all sought to eliminate the forced busing. However, voices that were less vocal were the ones affected the most: students and teachers. Throughout this entire process, no one seemed to ask them their opinions on the situation. In this exhibit, their lenses will be the arbitor of forced busing success or failure. Through a collection of sources, Perspective Within the Walls will bring the perspective of those affected most to the forefront.
