Cruise Map

As you can see up above, there is a map of the world and lines that depict that something is going there. That something was the American Presidents cruise liner that traveled around the world to various places of interest such as Hong Kong and Pakistan. Mary O’Rourke had attended this cruise in hopes of learning about the world around the Unites States. This map shows us what type of places Mary was interested in learning about and what type of people she wanted to meat. This map also came with a pamphlet that showed the names of all the people who were passengers on the cruise liner. Mary had highlighted people that she had met and if they had relation to anyone else on the ship. This shows that Mary wanted to get to know people from around the world because the liner had picked up people from each place it was visiting.
