Jessica Cook, reader and writer of The People Here, is a graduate student of English literature at Salem State University. She lives on the traditional land of the people at Agawam.

Hannah Drew, Omeka exhibit creator of The People Here, is currently in her last semester as a graduate student of English Literature at Salem State University. She lives on the traditional land of the Nipmuc Nation.
